MEET VALERIE

Valerie Mesa is a Miami-based intuitive astrologer, writer and visual storyteller. A student of the stars since the age of 13, what started off as a regular hobby led to something much greater in due time. It took several years of professional training alongside experienced astrologers, and countless impromptu consultations with family and friends, for Valerie to integrate her life-long passion for astrology with her career in communications.

After five years working in the Public Relations industry, she ventured into the entertainment world joining the Digital Exclusives editorial team at Telemundo NBCUniversal where she covered award shows and conducted celebrity interviews. During her career at NBC, Valerie produced and hosted a Facebook Live she called Astrollywood, where she creatively merged informative astrology content with trending celebrity news. She was also given the opportunity to interview and read live birth charts for celebrities such as Eiza González, Halle Berry, Jackie Cruz and more.

Today, Valerie writes horoscopes for PopSugar, StyleCaster, Elite Daily and more. Her work has been featured on E! News, Women’s Health, Glamour Magazine, among others. 

 When she's not consulting clients over Zoom or writing horoscopes, Valerie collaborates with other brands, where she assists in the curation process of astrology-related campaigns. She has worked with brands such as Amazon Prime, Cheap Caribbean, NBCUniversal and Zumba Fitness.
